Busy, Busy....

so i've been busy....now i've got 2 jobs and work pretty much 12 hours a day!
got myself a little graphic design opportunity with a local company ran by a friend called Cell Drinks.

i am producing some graphics for them which can consist of all retail POS, banners, posters, shelf labels and more, below are two examples of the stuff i've done so far but keep a look out for more when i get some good quality photos of all the stuff i've done!

Another LCD soundsystem inspired piece/poster. got a few more ideas for these before i move onto the next song or what have you!

long time no see......

after being absent from the world of blogging and to be honest creativity for the easter period and all that jazz i have finally got around to doing some thing other than not finishing off my website....

good bye old friend

these are the remains of my zenit EM which after years of service to the industry (only one year with me though) sadly broke down completely, despite me trying to take it apart and fix it to no avail. So I had to face the facts and throw the old remains shown here out... sad times

a new typeface I've been working on just at the early stages of sketching now!

Ever since my old zenit broke i wanted a new russian cam, i just love the style of the things built out of a massive slab of metal they feel like the AK-47'S of the camera world, they work fine until they break spectacularly.

so after some time i finally got a new (old) zenit 3M, however it takes a strange 38mm screw mount lens which i have heard are not that common, or not as common as 42mm anyways.
i was going to set about it with a saw and splice it with my old broken zenit so that it could take 42mm lenses but then i got some pics back from the shop and i'm gonna keep it with this beaut of a lens!

Haytch Dee Arrr

so i've been trying out some HDR (high dynamic range) photos, using long exposures at night i came up with the following shots.

i think they work fairly well but it is certainly something which i like and will be trying out some more and experimenting with!
